The game without a history. Peli-Karhut led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Shanika Freeman (183-83, college: Jacksonville St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. Her fellow American import guard Krystal Vaughn (185-86, college: VCU, agency: LBM Management) accounted for 29 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Four Peli-Karhut players scored in double figures. American forward Dandra Moss (183-88, college: VCU) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and the former international center Taru Tuukkanen (190-77, college: Xavier) added 18 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Torpan Pojat in the defeat. Torpan Pojat's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
