The game without a history. Svendborg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Horsens IC's 36. They outrebounded Horsens IC 39-28 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Adama Darboe (190-86, agency: Rasmussen Services) who scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. American forward Matt Williams (200-77, college: Montana) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Mike St.John (203-84, college: La Salle) who recorded 16 points and 6 rebounds and international forward Morten Sahlertz (198-89) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four Svendborg and five Horsens IC players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
