The game was mostly controlled by Frisco Sika. Sokol Hradec Kralove managed to win third quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sokol Hradec Kralove to just 6 points in second quarter. They outrebounded Sokol Hradec Kralove 46-31 including 34 on the offensive glass. Swedish guard Frida Eldebrink (174-88, agency: Josep and Nicolas) notched 24 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and American power forward Cheryl Ford (191-81, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Josep and Nicolas) supported her with 11 points and 18 rebounds. Four Frisco Sika players scored in double figures. Frisco Sika's coach Jan Bobrovsky used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds by the former international center Michaela Hartigova (192-83) did not help to save the game for Sokol Hradec Kralove. Center Klara Pochobradska (187-89) added 7 points and 6 rebounds for the guests.
