The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-18. But Peli-Karhut won second period 15-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Dandra Moss (183-88, college: VCU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international center Taru Tuukkanen (190-77, college: Xavier) who added 24 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American forward Amanda Lassiter (186-79, college: Missouri) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds and her fellow American import power forward Shanika Freeman (183-83, college: Jacksonville St.) scored 21 points and 9 rebounds.
