Regular Season Round 29: Bordeaux - Souffel 72-42

NM1 top team - Bordeaux (24-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Souffelweyersheim (12-16) 72-42. The game without a history. Bordeaux led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Bordeaux forced 19 Souffelweyersheim turnovers. Naturalized Tunisian guard Sami Driss (196-82) nailed 14 points and 5 assists for the winning side and American center John Ford (207-78, college: Colorado St.) accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Bordeaux players scored in double figures. Bordeaux's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Frederic Broliron (193-79) came up with 12 points and 4 steals and forward Jacques Alingue (201-88) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Souffelweyersheim in the defeat. Bordeaux maintains first place with 24-4 record. Souffelweyersheim lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the twelfth position with 16 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Bordeaux will play against Get Vosges (#16) in Golbey in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Souffelweyersheim will play at home against Saint-Quentin (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
