American power forward Donald Oatis (206-79, college: Wilberforce, agency: Prossin Sports Management) had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Nils-Paul Skara (185-87, college: William & Mary) chipped in 24 points during the contest. American forward Gerald January (201-88, college: Montevallo) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 17 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Ronald Timus (197-84, college: Morgan St.) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Tromso's coach Jeffrey Lange rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
