Semi-Finals Game 4: Keflavik - KR 104-103 OT

Keflavik refused to surrender as they came back from 0-2 deficit to tie it at 2-2 in the semifinal series against KR. The latest victory came in an overtime and kept Keflavik in the race for the title. The hosts were tied at the half and again at the end of regular time. But they managed to win overtime period 15-14. Keflavik looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Keflavik made 9 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Magnus Gunnarsson (186-81) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and American guard Thomas Sanders (191-85, college: Gardner-Webb, agency: Duran International) who added 21 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Marcus Walker (186-86, college: Colorado St., agency: 011 Sports) responded with 28 points and 9 assists and the former international swingman Pavel Ermolinskij (202-87) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 17 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
