The game without a history. UU-Korihait led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. UU-Korihait shot 31 for 44 from the free-throw line, while Espoo Honka only scored fifteen points from the stripe. They outrebounded Espoo Honka 45-29 including 33 on the defensive glass. Espoo Honka was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American forward Lawrence Wright (195-84, college: Bradley) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. Bosnian guard Bojan Sarcevic (190-88) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Four UU-Korihait players scored in double figures. American guard Jamar Wilson (185-84, college: Albany) answered with 25 points and 4 assists and the former international forward Ville Makalainen (194-85, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) added 7 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Espoo Honka. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
