The game in Strumica was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Fersped-Rabotnicki (18-8) played at the court of 5th ranked ABA Strumica (9-17). Fersped-Rabotnicki managed to secure a 8-point victory 75-67. ABA Strumica was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 40-29 second half run of Fersped-Rabotnicki. The former international center Pero Blazevski (200-72) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 4 assists. Geri Dendra contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Four Fersped-Rabotnicki players scored in double figures. American center John Chappell (208, college: S.Carolina) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and forward Mario Hasanov (198-86) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for ABA Strumica. Fersped-Rabotnicki have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 18-8 record having six points less than leader Kumanovo 2009. ABA Strumica lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Lirija. Fersped-Rabotnicki will play against league's leader Feni Indistrija in Kavadarci in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. ABA Strumica will play on the road against Lirija (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
