The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-10. But Maccabi Ashdod won third quarter 33-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Elitzur Ramla looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Tanisha Wright (180-83, college: Penn St., agency: LBM Management) scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international forward Shay Doron (175-85, college: Maryland) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Elitzur Ramla players scored in double figures. American guard Renee Montgomery (170-86, college: Connecticut, agency: LBM Management) responded with 22 points and 7 assists and her fellow American import swingman Tamara James (178-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: 540 Sports) scored 19 points.
