Very expected game when 10th ranked Alges (7-15) lost at home to fourth ranked Angrabasket (15-7) 73-63. It looked good early as Alges took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Angrabasket had a 17-11 second period charge getting the lead and Alges were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 63-73. Angrabasket forced 23 Alges turnovers. American power forward Terrence Mack (198-84, college: Rhode Island) fired 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Angolan guard Joao Pereira (186-83) chipped in 23 points. Angolan forward Sergio Correia (197-85) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and forward Sylvester Spicer added 14 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. Alges' coach Flavio Nascimento rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Angrabasket moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Alges dropped to the ninth position with 15 games lost.
