Semi-Finals Game 1: Nova Ves - Levice 76-75

The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Levice won third quarter 25-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 25 personal fouls committed by Levice helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Corey Jefferson (183-85, college: Texas St.) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Polish center Pawel Mroz (215-84) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Jefferson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Nova Ves players scored in double figures. British center Michael Bernard (205-78, college: S.Florida) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and American swingman Mike English (194-82, college: UMKC) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Levice. Levice's coach Ivan Stanisak rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
