Ehingen/Urspringschule was trailing by 8 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 24-10 charge of NBC, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ehingen/Urspringschule to just 6 points in first quarter. Swingman Cornelius Adler (195-89) scored 17 points to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Ahmad Smith (194-84, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 2 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. American guard Virgil Matthews (188-83, college: Montana) responded with 11 points and 7 rebounds and forward Fabian Boeke (211-86, college: Washington St.) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds.
