The game between closely ranked teams ended with second ranked BC Kolin's (14-15) road victory over 3rd placed USK Praha (10-19) 88-86 on Sunday. USK Praha trailed by 14 points at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 36-22 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 86-88 at the end of the game. Forward Richard Field (196-85, college: Mercyhurst) stepped up and scored 26 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Slovakian guard Roman Marko (195-86) chipped in 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was international forward Lukas Kotas (194-84) with 21 points and 5 rebounds and center Martin Klimes (203-83, college: Vermont) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Five USK Praha players scored in double figures. BC Kolin maintains second place in A2 with 14-15 record having just three points less than leader B&W Opava. Loser USK Praha keeps the third position with 19 games lost. BC Kolin will face Lokomotiva Plzen (#6) at home in the next round. USK Praha will play against Basketbol Brno and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
