The game between Top Four teams took place in Zagreb. First ranked host Cedevita (5-1) defeated 3rd ranked Zadar (4-3) 69-60. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Zadar. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-15. But Zadar won second period 14-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for the former international forward Damjan Rudez (206-86) who led his team to a victory with 26 points. Guard Hrvoje Kovacevic (191-86) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Marko Car (188-85) replied with 26 points and American forward Brandon Brown (202-81, college: Tulane) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Zadar. Cedevita have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A with 5-1 record, which they share with KK Zagreb CO. Zadar at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Cedevita's next round opponent will be Zabok (#8) in Zabok and are hoping to win another game. Zadar will play at home against KK Split (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
