Second Stage Round 10: BK Pardubice - BK Decin 78-80

The most exciting game of round 10 in the NBL took place in Pardubice. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers BK Pardubice (5-3) to fourth ranked BK Decin (3-5) 80-78 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BK Pardubice. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. At the losing side international forward Petr Bohacik (202-85) responded with 9 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Maurice Hampton (188-84, college: Austin Peay St.) scored 18 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. BK Decin maintains fourth position in A1 with 3-5 record. BK Pardubice at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. BK Decin are looking forward to face league's second-placed BK Prostejov on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. BK Pardubice will play against the league's leader CEZ Nymburk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
