The guests trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 18-8 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 4-point victory in overtime. La Union made 27-of-32 free shots (84.4 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Olimpico de La Banda helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American guard David Jackson (196-82, college: Penn St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. The former international forward Gabriel Mikulas (201-80, college: E.Carolina, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 16 points and 10 rebounds. Four La Union players scored in double figures. La Union's coach Gabriel Picatto used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was forward Cristian Romero (198-82) with 16 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Andre Laws (186-80, college: San Diego, agency: Global Sports Plaza) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
