There was a change at the DBL leadership position after last games. Round 36 most important game was a defeat of league's leader GasTerra (29-7). They were defeated by seventh ranked DeFriesland (17-19) 92-88 in double-overtime on Saturday night. GasTerra was tied after three quarters and then recorded another tie at the end of regular time. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when DeFriesland made 7 blocks. 28 personal fouls committed by GasTerra helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian forward Manny Adako (203-87, college: Northeastern, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Todd Brown (196-87, college: Wright St.) who added 19 points and 8 rebounds during the contest.
