Round 6 most important game was a victory of Caciques over 6th ranked Gallitos 88-77 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Caciques. Gallitos managed to win third quarter 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Caciques made 7 blocks. It was a good game for the former international guard Miguel Ali Berdiel (198-83, college: Valparaiso, agency: Paris Global Sports) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Brandon Robinson (202-81, college: Auburn, agency: Paris Global Sports) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Shavlik Randolph (208-83, college: Duke) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Lewis Clinch (191-87, college: Georgia Tech) added 8 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Gallitos. Caciques (3-4) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Arecibo. Gallitos lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with Santurce. Caciques is looking forward to face Capitanes (#5) in Arecibo in the next round. Gallitos will play on the road against Vaqueros (#3) in Bayamon and are hoping to win this game.
