ACB top team - Regal FC Barcelona (24-6) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Blancos de Rueda (16-14) 77-53. The game without a history. Regal FC Barcelona led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Slovenian power forward Erazem Lorbek (209-84, college: Michigan St.) scored 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and international guard Ricky Rubio (192-90) chipped in 7 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Marcus Slaughter (204-85, college: San Diego St., agency: Beo Basket) with 9 points and 9 rebounds and forward Nacho Martin (205-83) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds.
