Finals Game 3: KR - Stjarnan 101-81

KR surged ahead in the championship series against Stjarnan following a comfortable home victory. The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 20 points. KR made 34-of-39 free shots (87.2 percent) during the game. 29 personal fouls committed by Stjarnan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Marcus Walker (186-86, college: Colorado St., agency: Strategic Sports) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!) (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). The former international swingman Pavel Ermolinskij (202-87) helped adding 16 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. KR's coach Hrafn Kristjansson used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was swingman Marvin Valdimarsson (198-81) with 15 points and 8 rebounds and American-Estonian forward Renato Lindmets (198-84, college: Westfield St., agency: Tank Sports) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
