There was no surprise in Madrid where 18th ranked Menorca Basquet (6-25) was defeated by tenth ranked Asefa Estudiantes (16-15) 77-69. Asefa Estudiantes outrebounded Menorca Basquet 38-26 including 24 on the defensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by Menorca Basquet helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Nik Caner-Medley (203-83, college: Maryland, agency: Priority Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. Italian-Argentinian guard Pancho Jasen (199-78) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Asefa Estudiantes' coach Luis Casimiro allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Serbian forward Ivan Radenovic (208-84, college: Arizona) answered with 18 points and Israeli guard Raviv Limonad (192-84) added 15 points in the effort for Menorca Basquet.
