Finals Game 2: Iowa E. - Rio Grande VV 122-141

Jerel McNeal had 37 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, and the Rio Grande Valley Vipers forced a deciding Game 3 in the NBA Development League finals with a 141-122 victory over the Iowa Energy on Wednesday night. The defending champions overcame league MVP Curtis Stinson's second straight triple-double to set up Friday's game at Wells Fargo Arena, which drew a record crowd of 14,036 for Game 2. Richard Roby scored 28 points for the Valley Vipers, who dropped the opener 123-106 at home on Sunday. Stinson finished with 24 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds for Iowa.
