Semi-Finals Game 5: PGE Turow - Trefl Sopot 78-77

PGE Turow escaped with a narrow home win over Trefl Sopot to step closer to the Final. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Trefl Sopot won third quarter 20-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Torey Thomas (180-85, college: Holy Cross, agency: Interperformances) stepped up and scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and naturalized German forward Konrad Wysocki (201-82, college: Princeton, agency: Pro One Sports) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. PGE Turow's coach Jacek Winnicki used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international forward Filip Dylewicz (202-80, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds and international forward Adam Waczynski (199-89, agency: Limelight Hoops) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line).
