The game was mostly controlled by FEA Neas. Aris was better in fourth quarter 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Aris' 24. The former international guard Tania Halivera (178-85) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and the former international power forward Nena Nikolaidou (190-79) chipped in 8 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side Canadian forward Stephany Skrba (188-87, college: Michigan) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds and forward Anna Spiridopoulou (182-88) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Aris' coach Kostas Kotoulis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
