Semi-Finals Game 7: PGE Turow - Trefl Sopot 77-67

PGE Turow finished off Trefl Sopot in the seventh game of the exciting semifinal series to reach the Finals. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-67. PGE Turow made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. PGE Turow outrebounded Trefl Sopot 42-26 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Trefl Sopot helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American guard David Jackson (193-86, college: W.Illinois) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 8 rebounds. Naturalized German forward Konrad Wysocki (201-82, college: Princeton, agency: Pro One Sports) helped adding 13 points and 11 rebounds. Four PGE Turow players scored in double figures. PGE Turow's coach Jacek Winnicki used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side international forward Adam Waczynski (199-89, agency: Limelight Hoops) responded with 18 points and the former international guard Pawel Kikowski (193-86, agency: Limelight Hoops) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds.
