The game was mostly controlled by La Laguna. Girona FC was better in fourth quarter 24-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. La Laguna outrebounded Girona FC 40-18 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for the former international power forward Ricardo Guillen (205-76) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Argentinian-Italian point guard Nicolas Richotti (181-86) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Four La Laguna players scored in double figures. La Laguna's coach Alejandro Martinez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. point guard Ignacio Ordin (183-78) came up with 23 points and forward Sergi Pino (196-87) added 10 points respectively for Girona FC in the defeat.
