Quarter-Finals Round 4: Quimsa - Obras 86-65

Date: May 4, 2011
The game without a history. Quimsa led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Julio Mazzaro (190-79) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and naturalized Italian swingman Anibal Marin (199-82) who added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Quimsa players scored in double figures. Quimsa's coach Carlos Romano felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side international power forward Juan Gutierrez (205-83) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds and forward Luciano Gonzalez (196-90) scored 13 points.
