The game was mostly controlled by La Laguna. Girona FC managed to win third quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. La Laguna shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Girona FC's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Ricardo Guillen (205-76) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Jaime Heras (193-82) who added 16 points during the contest. Four La Laguna players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Josep Ortega (201-84) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Croatian power forward Mateo Kedzo (207-84) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
