The game without a history. BK Decin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. BK Decin outrebounded NH Ostrava 32-17 including a 14-3 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. BK Decin looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The winners were led by international forward Pavel Houska (201-84) who scored that evening 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Bosnian forward Admir Alic (198-84) supported him with 19 points and 4 assists. Four BK Decin players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) by Polish center Cezary Trybanski (218-79) did not help to save the game for NH Ostrava. Canadian forward Andrew Spagrud (203-85) added 14 points for lost side. NH Ostrava's coach Zdenek Hummel gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
