The game was mostly controlled by Okinawa GK. Shiga Lakestars managed to win third quarter 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely Shiga Lakestars outrebounded Okinawa GK 50-37 including 19 on the offensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. American players dominated also this game. Forward David Palmer (201-82, college: S.Utah) nailed 28 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and swingman Carlos Dixon (202-81, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Strategic Sports) accounted for 23 points and 8 rebounds. Four Okinawa GK players scored in double figures. Guard Mikey Marshall (196-81, college: Texas Tech, agency: Warren Sports International) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds and power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL) added 11 points and 15 rebounds respectively for Shiga Lakestars in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
