Regular Season Round 13: Bayamon - Quebradillas 98-87

BSN round 13 caused change at the leadership position. Fourth defeat of league's leader Quebradillas (10-4) against third ranked Vaqueros (10-4) 98-87 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Vaqueros led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-21 free shots (95.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Christian Dalmau (194-77, college: Daytona Beach CC, agency: Paris Global Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. The former international guard Javier Mojica (190-84, college: Cent.Conn.St., agency: Alti Sport) contributed with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Vaqueros players scored in double figures. International center Peter John Ramos (222-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds and American forward DeShawn Sims (203-88, college: Michigan) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Quebradillas. Vaqueros keep a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Quebradillas. Quebradillas will play next round against strong Cangrejeros trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Vaqueros will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Maratonistas in Coamo.
