Strangely Perugia outrebounded Brescia 38-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Perugia was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Argentinian forward Mario Jose Ghersetti (200-81) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Massimo Farioli (202-77, agency: Interperformances) who added 10 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Brescia players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Marco Pazzi (203-79) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and center Simone Bonamente (202-79) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds.
