Finals Game 3: TTU - Tarvas 92-70

Date: May 8, 2011
TTU/Kalev are EMKL Bronze medalists after they overcame Rakvere in the decider. The game was mostly controlled by TTU/Kalev. BC Rakvere was better in third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded BC Rakvere 49-30 including 19 on the offensive glass. BC Rakvere was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American-DR Congolese forward Bambale Osby (203-86, college: Maryland) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Illimar Pilk (195-88) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Osby is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Martin Dorbek (192-91) came up with 15 points and 8 rebounds and forward Janis Vahter (195-86) added 18 points respectively for BC Rakvere in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
