Quarter-Finals Round 4: Memphis G. - Oklah.City T. 123-133 OT3

Date: May 9, 2011
The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Memphis Grizzlies were in an incredible struggle on Monday night at the Fedex Forum, going to triple overtime before the Thunder finally pulled out the Game 4 win, 133-123. Former ASU standout James Harden worked hard all night, scoring 19 points and making all ten of his free throw attempts. Harden played 49 minutes on the evening. Harden's consistency at the line was very significant, but his biggest moment came with just a minute left in the second overtime when he nailed a three pointer to tie the game at 117 each. Memphis' rotation was thinned out by O.J. Mayo and Mike Conley fouling out. Greivis Vazquez, who averaged just seven minutes over the first three games of the series, was forced into playing 25 minutes. He delivered, scoring 14 points, but the Grizzlies wore down in the third overtime period. Randolph, Kevin Durant and Marc Gasol all played 57 minutes each, pushing their bodies to the limit over the course of this marathon battle. This was a game that didn't seem to want to end. The final buzzer sounded after 1:40 AM on the east coast, with fans across the nation staying up long after their bedtimes to see the climactic finish to this contest. With the win, the Thunder evened the series at 2-2 against the eighth-seeded Grizzlies, who were led by Zach Randolph's 34 point effort. *Courtesy of https://arizona.sbnation.com
