The game was mostly controlled by Kutaisi. TSU was better in second period 24-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Kutaisi won last quarter 32-22. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Forward Giorgi Barbakadze (203-91) notched 17 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Buba Kvimsadze (195-82) supported him with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Kutaisi players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds by the former international forward Mikheil Berishvili (205-87) did not help to save the game for TSU. Center Ilia Londaridze (205-89) added 19 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts.
