An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Charleroi. First ranked Spirou Charleroi faced 3rd placed Dexia Mons-Hainaut. Host Spirou Charleroi (25-6) defeated guests from Quaregnon (20-11) 94-85. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dexia Mons-Hainaut. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Dexia Mons-Hainaut won fourth quarter 27-26. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Dexia Mons-Hainaut 34-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. Dexia Mons-Hainaut at the other side keeps the third position with 11 games lost. Spirou Charleroi are looking forward to face Antwerp Giants (#5) on the road in the next round. Dexia Mons-Hainaut will play against Belgacom Liege and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
