Fisica stayed alive in the semifinal series edging Barcelos at home court. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-66. Fisica dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Barcelos' 32. It was a great evening for American power forward Jason Underwood (206-84, college: Centenary) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Swingman Amadeu Cordeiro (192-78) helped adding 11 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Underwood is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Pedro Silva (198-79) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and center Joao Moreira (200-85) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
