Sunrise Scafati bounced back after the starting loss and edged Barcellona. The game was mostly controlled by Sunrise Scafati. Sigma Barcellona managed to win third quarter 24-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sigma Barcellona to just 7 points in first quarter. Sunrise Scafati made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. American guard Ronald Davis (190-82, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import guard Jimmie Hunter (196-77, college: Life) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Sunrise Scafati players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Andrea Ghiacci (200-81) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and Scottish-Nigerian power forward Kieron Achara (208-83, college: Duquesne) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Sigma Barcellona. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
