The game in Patra was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Arkadikos (15-11) played at the court of 7th ranked Apollon Patras (13-13). Arkadikos managed to secure a 9-point victory 57-48 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Apollon Patras. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Arkadikos forced 19 Apollon Patras turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Dimitris Katiakos (205-87) who scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Newly promoted Apollon Patras keeps the seventh place with 13 games lost. Arkadikos will face league's leader KAOD in Dramas in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Apollon Patras will play on the road against Panerythraikos (#13) in New Eritrea.
