Semi-Finals Game 1: Ostuni - Treviglio 71-59

Date: May 15, 2011
The game was mostly controlled by Ostuni. Treviglio was better in third quarter 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Ostuni won last quarter 21-11. The former international forward Mario Gigena (198-77) stepped up and scored 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and naturalized Argentinian forward Silvio Gigena (200-75) chipped in 16 points. At the losing side center Jacopo Borra (212-90) responded with 12 points and 7 rebounds and guard Tommaso Marino (190-86, agency: Interperformances) scored 8 points and 6 assists. Treviglio's coach Simone Lottici rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
