The game was mostly controlled by Obradoiro CAB. Leche Rio Breogan was better in second period 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Leche Rio Breogan to just 7 points in third quarter. Leche Rio Breogan was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Canadian-Irish forward Levon Kendall (209-84, college: Pittsburgh) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 8 rebounds. The former international center Oriol Junyent (207-76) contributed with 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Center Oliver Arteaga (211-83) answered with 11 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Eric Hicks (198-83, college: Cincinnati) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 blocks in the effort for Leche Rio Breogan. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
