T71 Dudelange used an overtime to tame visiting Amicale and advance into Diekirch League Finals. Amicale was tied after three quarters and then recorded another tie at the end of regular time. They were eventually defeated in overtime 7-13s. T71 made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. T71 outrebounded Amicale 49-36 including 36 on the defensive glass. American swingman Denell Stephens (193-86, college: Slippery Rock, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 22 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and international guard Tom Schumacher (190-87, college: Cal.Baptist) chipped in 32 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The former international guard Christian Schartz (180-86) responded with 28 points and the former international guard Eric Jeitz (191-86) scored 12 points.
