The game without a history. Olympiakos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Aris' 44. Olympiakos looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Aris' players. The best player for the winners was international center Loukas Mavrokefalides (207-84) who scored 18 points. American guard Gordon Jamon Lukas (191-84, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Edge Sports) chipped in 7 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Bosnian power forward Edin Bavcic (210-84, agency: Beo Basket) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and Russian center Anatoly Kashirov (215-87) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Aris players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
