The game was mostly controlled by Cibona. Cedevita managed to win third quarter 34-30. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cibona shot 60.3 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 31 personal fouls committed by Cedevita helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International swingman Bojan Bogdanovic (202-89) scored 29 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Marin Rozic (201-83) chipped in 19 points, 5 assists and 4 steals (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) during the contest. Guard Hrvoje Kovacevic (191-86) responded with 22 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American guard Dontaye Draper (180-84, college: Charleston) scored 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Cibona and four Cedevita players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
