The game without a history. Olympiakos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-19 charity shots (94.7 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Israeli guard Yotam Halperin (196-84) who led his team to a victory with 15 points. International guard Vassilis Spanoulis (193-82, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Russian center Anatoly Kashirov (215-87) answered with 16 points and the former international guard Nikos Hatzivrettas (195-77) added 14 points in the effort for Aris. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
