Guasave are now 2-0 up on Guaymas after another home victory. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 24-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Ostioneros de Guaymas were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Kevin Sowell (190-81) who scored 36 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Guard Rasheem Barrett (196-87, college: Auburn, agency: SportsList Inc.) chipped in 26 points and 6 rebounds. Sowell is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Craig Winder (188-84, college: Texas, agency: Prossin Sports Management) produced 33 points (!!!) and 6 assists and guard Richard Roby (198-85) added 18 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ostioneros de Guaymas' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
