Ostuni outrebounded Treviglio 48-27 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Treviglio helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Naturalized Argentinian forward Silvio Gigena (200-75) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Center Francesco Basei (207-83) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Ostuni players scored in double figures. Forward Riccardo Castelli (202-88) answered with 15 points and center Jacopo Borra (212-90) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Treviglio. Treviglio's coach Simone Lottici gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
