Finals Game 2: Penarol - Atenas 82-66

Penarol earned the second consecutive win over Atenas in the championship series. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-66. 26 personal fouls committed by Atenas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International forward Leonardo Gutierrez (200-78) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Facundo Campazzo (180-91) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Penarol players scored in double figures. American power forward James Williams (204-79, college: Brown Mackie, agency: Dream Team Management) responded with 13 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Gregory Lewis (198-78, college: Winthrop, agency: Dream Team Management) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
