Culiacan are 3-0 up on Mexicali. The game was mostly controlled by Caballeros de Culiacan. Bomberos de Mexicali managed to win second period 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for guard Marcus Moore (198-80, college: Washington St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Rene Rougeau (198-86, college: UNLV) helped adding 20 points. Four Caballeros de Culiacan players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Michael Gale (193-82, college: Centenary) with 29 points and 6 rebounds and forward James Penny (198-76, college: TCU) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds.
